Diploma in Construction Technology
Technical improvements in construction industry and recent developments in computer technology and its application has raised the demand for well trained and up to date Construction Technicians.

In view of the importance of the construction industry, the department offers a two-year professional diploma in Construction Technology responding to the needs of contemporary industry.

The computer aided course program is designed for students with technical aptitude, who wish to acquire the skills and expertise required for professional careers in construction fields.
 

Higher Diploma in Construction Technology
Three-Year Construction Technology program leading to Higher Diploma in Construction Technology requires a further year of study. Graduates of Two-Year Construction Diploma program are eligible to apply to the Three-Year Construction Technology program.

In Fall semester students receive further theoretical and practical instruction on architectural / engineering drawing, 3D AutoCAD, cost estimating, health and safety in construction and construction management. Students have the opportunity to do their industrial training for 15 weeks throughout the spring semester where they work in various areas of construction industry and gain valuable industrial experience. In this period students are required to carry out the Graduation Project and keep a training logbook; submit their industrial training and graduation project reports.
